I love to find weird pictures on the Internet. I try to find the strangest ones I can, but I make sure they’re all public domain. Most of these were used for the Horror Short Story Of The Week page. They’re too good to lose, So enjoy:

Mutants and Clones

This is a hysterical example of disfuntional cloning.

The dark mouse was cloned from dead tissue. The “Parent” had been deceased for years, his body stored in a freezer. The Japanese labratory responsible for this successful cloning has in its possession the frozen embryo of a woolly mammoth.

Actual genetic mutations can be hard to distinguish from more mundane birth defects, such as the incomplete separation of twins.

Child Mummies

This actual child mummy (a little girl) was an Inca sacrifice. She was found at the top of a volcano in Northwest Argentina.

This child mummy is only 77 years old. Her body rests in the Catacombs, Palermo Italy.

This is a child mummy from Egypt (Late Period). She probably died about 300BC.

A child mummy from Salta Argentina. This was another sacrifical victim (Inca). He dates to around 1500 AD.

This is the decorated coffin of a child-mummy from Egypt (Roman Period). It dates to about 125 AD.

Rat Catchers

This is the Royal Rat Catcher, Jack Black, in the mid 1800’s. He’s dressed exactly as Ross described him in his story. Black kept unusually-colored rats and bred them as pets. Queen Victoria herself had a pair of Black’s “fancy” rats.
