Haunted Photographs II – Ghost Hunting In Montana
_________
Welcome to the second series of haunted photographs. Here is the gateway to the other side. It’s another kind of door.

The Summer of 2010 was a good one for ghosts.
Here is the place for me to document my ghost-hunting travels through the ghost towns and abandoned mining camps of Rocky Mountain Montana. I visited several locations over the course of a month and have a ton of pictures, so this page is very much a work in progress. I’ll be adding to it for quite some time, so keep checking back. Every time I look, I find new, weird things.
This old house was once a brothel. Do you see the face in the window?
Here is the full picture of the old brothel. I don’t put much emphasis on orbs, but there sure were a lot of them. Only in certain pictures and only at certain times, there was really no reason for them. The nights were very cool, almost cold, there were no insects and I didn’t notice plant matter, or dust in the air.
Another view of the old brothel, as you can see, the sun is setting.
Montana is beautiful, but so wild.
Here I am. Can you tell I’m taking a picture of myself?
Here’s my standard ghost-hunting gear for Montana. My old backpack has water, food and a water-proof parka, in it at all times. I keep my cell phone and camera handy in the front. I also bring a heavy revolver and a good, sturdy little dagger.
The walking stick is diamond-wood with a sterling band. You can never tell about werewolves.
Check out the boots.
I call this “The Window Singer.”
There’s something about abandoned toy stores…
and outhouses.
How would you like to use the bathroom here?
Here’s he sunset outside of town..
and sunset for the hustle and bustle of downtown.
Back to the brothel
This is incredible. It looks like something is trying to come through.
It looks like the lights are on.
You have to be quick with the camera in Montana. Do you see the coyote?
That’s right, that’s him crossing the road…sly little devil.
It looks like a party is still going on in this old hotel. Look at the top right window.

People were killed here. This was a wild and woolly town.

I didn’t just take pictures while I was in Montana, I also drew. Here are a bunch of drawings I did while I was there. It was a very productive time for me. This one is called “The Town’s Only Cephalopod Recycling Center.” The “M” in a circle, after the date, means I drew the picture in Montana.

This is our Montana house. We’re redoing the plastic along the bottom. That’s why it’s showing. The white marks along the wood are where woodpeckers have attacked the house. We just patched them and haven’t stained over the patches yet.
I use this room as my studio.
