The Ghastly Door is a new horror magazine that focuses on brand-new horror from 2010 and beyond. We are looking for fresh material and we would love to hear from you. We’ve had writers and artists from all over the world contribute already.
Regretfully, we’re unable to pay at present, but the exposure you’ll get is worth more than money (or at least you can pretend it is).
Here’s what we need…

Fiction:
Every week, I publish a Horror Short Story Of The Week. I’m looking for stories that are brand-new to 2010.
Remember this is the Internet. Keep the stories short. I’m open to anything even remotely horror, but I’m an escapist by heart. Don’t get too depressive and keep it visual.
After your week is up, your story goes to one of my Horror Story Archives pages. It will stay there until forever, hopefully.

I need reviews of books, movies, TV shows, art, music, and basically anything to do with horror.

Articles and Interviews:
There’s a section in the magazine called “Horror Writer’s Corner.” I’ll use this section to publish opinions, articles, interviews, and general rants. Keep it interesting and don’t be afraid of being controversial.

Photography and Art:
I would love to use your photographs and artwork. Images on my site work best if they’re vertically oriented. Don’t send me more than three images at a time and include a little information about each picture. If you’re interested in doing contract work, let me know.
I’m especially interested in real ghost photos.

How to submit:
Write “Ghastly Door” in the subject line of your e-mail. That way I’ll know you’re not some kind of robot. I’ll read any e-mail with “Ghastly Door” in the subject line. I’ll delete anything else without looking.
It would probably help if you wrote what you’re submitting there also. For example, if you’re submitting photographs, write “Ghastly Door Photographs,” in the subject box.
Send your stories, reviews, articles, and interviews as a word doc.
Send only 3 visual images at a time and keep them under 400 jpg.
